Quick answers
I got an invite. Do I need the app first?
No. Open the invite to see the trip: where, when and who’s going. When you’re ready to join, Tripami asks you to sign in, and your account picks up the spot that was saved for you, with your plans already in place.
How do I disconnect Gmail?
In Tripami, open Settings, then Connected accounts, and choose Disconnect. Tripami stops checking for travel messages and deletes its access. You can also remove Tripami from the third-party connections in your Google Account.
How do I stop sharing my location?
Location sharing is off unless you turn it on. If you did, turn it off from the Map tab in your trip, or in your iPhone’s Settings under Privacy & Security, then Location Services.
A plan looks wrong. What should I do?
Open the plan to edit it. Imported plans stay suggested until someone confirms them, so it’s worth checking the review screen after an import. If a booking changed, Tripami marks the plan as changed rather than rewriting it.
Can Tripami pay someone back for me?
No. Tripami shows who owes what. Pay each other in the payment app you already use, then mark the balance as settled in Tripami.
Report a security issue
If you think you’ve found a security vulnerability in Tripami, email security@tripami.app with the details and steps to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly, and don’t access other people’s data while testing.
